About The Farm
My name is Carrie and I am the primary farmer here at Wild Canyon. I started with a large vegetable garden that quickly was over taken by a found love for cut flowers. I farm on 1/4 acre of our 5 acre property. I also take care of our 6 goats, 2 pigs, chickens, dog Marla and kitty Snoop Dog the Cat! Itβs a wild time, not to mention my husband Ty and I are raising two amazing young boys. With their help and support I have turned my hobby into a budding business. You can find my flowers through the Slo Flower Collective which I helped co found and my farm stand located on Corbett Canyon Road.
Driven by passion
Wild Canyon Flower Farm is a small, family-run farm dedicated to growing seasonal, sustainably produced cut flowers. Situated on a modest property, we focus on diversity over scale: many varieties are planted in small beds to extend bloom times and support pollinators. Our planting schedule follows the seasons closely, with early spring bulbs and cool-season annuals giving way to a long succession of annuals and heat-tolerant varieties through summer, and late-blooming dahlias and mums carrying us into fall.
We use organic-minded practices: compost and mulch to build soil health, and careful water management to conserve resources.
Cutting and post-harvest handling are done in the cool hours of the day to preserve vase life. Stems are hydrated immediately after harvest, then stored in a cool space until they are prepped for bouquets, bunches, or wholesale orders. We offer custom bouquets for subscription-style flower shares during peak season.
Beyond flowers, the farm is a home to goats, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. Because we are small-scale, everything is hands-on β from seed starting and planting to deadheading and arranging. This scale allows attention to detail and a commitment to quality: carefully timed plantings, thoughtful color palettes, and stems harvested at the optimal stage for vase life and design flexibility. Our goal is to provide fresh, seasonal flowers that reflect place and time, grown with care and respect for the land.
